ONTARIO, Calif. – July 26, 2017 – The Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA) today announced that it accepted a federal grant of $6.7 million that will fund most of a project to repair the intersection of two taxiways at Ontario International Airport (ONT).

The award, made through the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Improvement Program, will fund more than 80 percent of the nearly $8.5 million project for pavement repair at the intersection of taxiways S and W. The Airport will fund the remaining $1.7 million.

The taxiway repairs will be made beginning this fall with no impact on flight operations.
