OIAA Commissioners approve naming rights agreement for ONT Field
Posted on:
(Ontario, Calif. – July 7, 2026) – The Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA) has formally approved a naming rights agreement that brands Ontario’s new professional baseball stadium as ONT Field, strengthening the connection between Southern California’s fastest-growing airport and one of the region’s newest sports and entertainment venues.
The agreement reinforces the historic partnership between Ontario International Airport (ONT) and the City of Ontario and underscores ONT’s role as a central gateway to the Inland Empire’s growing economy, tourism sector and entertainment landscape.
ONT Field serves as the home of the Ontario Tower Buzzers, the Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and anchors the emerging Ontario Sports Empire district near Riverside Drive and Vineyard Avenue. The stadium is divided into four aviation-themed neighborhoods and features a main entrance styled like an airport terminal, a bar shaped like a luggage carousel, a P-38 plane display and a lit-up runway. The Flight Tower Restaurant, a signature dining destination overlooking ONT Field, expected to open in 2027.
“ONT Field represents the spirit of our region – bold, welcoming and built for the future,” said Alan D. Wapner, President of the OIAA Board of Commissioners. “We are proud that the name of our airport is associated with a venue that brings people together for baseball, concerts, festivals and community celebrations while showcasing Ontario to visitors from across Southern California and beyond.”
The 6,000-seat stadium features a variety of seating experiences, food and beverage offerings, and themed entertainment areas designed to create a family-friendly environment for fans and visitors. The venue also host sconcerts, festivals, community races and corporate events throughout the year.
Beyond baseball, ONT Field has become a key gathering place for the region, supporting tourism, local businesses and community engagement.
“Ontario International Airport is a global gateway and one of the great success stories of our region,” Wapner said. “We’re excited to see the ONT name carried into a venue that celebrates community pride and the shared experiences that bring people together.”
