Employee Parking

These policies apply to all airport employees, tenants, airline staff, concessionaires and contractors who regularly conduct business at ONT and possess a valid ONT SIDA badge. Parking privileges are granted solely for vehicles used while actively engaged in official ONT-related duties.

Standard Employee and Tenant Parking
All standard long-term employees and tenants are authorized to park in Lot 6. Any individual parking outside of his or her assigned area is responsible for paying the full posted parking rate. No discounts or refunds will be provided.

Managerial Employee and Tenant Parking
Supervisors, managers and other leadership personnel (i.e. leads or individuals that may not hold a formal supervisor or manager title but have responsibilities that require closer access for operational needs) are authorized to park in Lot 3, which is designated for employee leadership parking and is accessed via ONT SIDA Badge. Any individual parking outside of his or her assigned area is responsible for paying the full posted parking rate. No discounts or refunds will be provided.

Executive & Corporate Parking
Executive and corporate personnel are authorized to park in airport lots as needed. Access is granted based on operational necessity, such as duties requiring frequent terminal access or airport representation.

Non-ONT SIDA badge holders include employees, contractors or visitors who do not possess an ONT SIDA badge. Parking access for these individuals is limited and subject to operational and security requirements. Access may be granted on a temporary or recurring basis, depending on official business needs, and is generally restricted to designated lots as determined by OlAA. Long-term or permanent parking privileges are not automatically provided and require formal approval from the Ground Transportation Department.

Commuter Parking
Commuter access is available for employees or flight crew who do not require daily parking at ONT, including those with hybrid schedules, reduced on-site presence, carpool participants or airline personnel who commute to ONT for specific flights or assignments.

Emergency Personnel
Emergency personnel traveling through ONT for official emergency response operations, including flights to and from assigned incident locations, may be granted temporary parking access in designated areas.

Government Officials Parking
Members of Congress, state legislators and other authorized government personnel may be granted parking access at ONT for a discounted rate, equivalent to that of non-SIDA badge pricing, currently $175 monthly as of the effective date of this policy, while conducting official business. Authorization must be obtained from the Government Relations and Ground Transportation departments. Parking is permitted in designated airport lots only.

Visitor and Temporary Parking
Individuals visiting Ontario International Airport for business purposes — including contractors performing temporary work, regulatory inspectors, vendors, consultants, interview candidates or other non-badged visitors — are not eligible for employee or tenant parking privileges. Parking validations will not be provided by OIAA, and any parking costs incurred are the responsibility of the visitor or the organization arranging the visit. Organizations coordinating contractor work, inspections, interviews or similar activities must communicate parking requirements in advance and ensure that all applicable parking fees are paid.

A temporary or case-specific deviation from standard parking assignments, rules or eligibility may be granted by the OIAA based on operational need, safety requirements or other unique circumstances. Special exceptions must be approved in writing by the Ground Transportation Department, and may include, but are not limited to, temporary access for emergency responders, VIPs, contractors with unusual operational requirements or employees with temporary accessibility needs. These exceptions are revocable at any time and do not establish permanent parking privileges.
