Pet Relief Areas
ONT's pet relief areas are located at the west ends of both Terminals 2 and 4. The area is approximately 12' X 12', with a few trees, sand, fire hydrant, dog house (not usable), and baggies available for dog waste. In using the pet areas, please remember that your pet must be on a leash at all times.
Pets Assisting with Smiles (PAWS)
Ontario International Airport (ONT) passengers are welcomed by furry four legged volunteers - dogs! ONT, in partnership with the Pet Prescription Team of Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego County, launched a program to enhance the customer experience while providing a less stressful travel experience at the airport. ONT’s PAWS (Pets Assisting With Smiles) program has approximately 40 certified therapy dogs and their handlers roaming throughout the terminals in maroon shirts with the PAWS logo while visiting passengers awaiting flights and providing smiles, comfort and airport information at the ticket lobby, security screening, baggage claim or boarding areas.
